A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

"What meaning is left in life when your reason for living disappears?"

On the morning of March 14,
16-year old Amano Shizuka's life teeters on the brink of ruin
when she lost her most cherished person
-the light of her life-
to the clutches of death.

Her heart falls into a frigid winter
while flowers all around her begin to bloom to greet the incoming spring.

Shizuka, however, isn't the only one who seems to have been forsaken by spring's joy.

A younger sibling takes on more burden than he was supposed to originally bear.
A twin dedicates his life to another's happiness, forgetting to live his own.
A genius, as if cursed, keeps chasing afterimages of the past.
An orphan finds less and less meaning in life with each passing day.

As if bound by a thread unseen by the eyes, Shizuka and these people's paths tangled.

Will she choose to grab hold of these threads?
Or will she choose to let go?

Thoroughly enjoyable! Unlike most visual novels, the main character doesn't talk very much in a way that I feel disconnected from the story. Everyone else, even the side characters that you feel aren't going to have much of their story explored, have depth to them, so  it's almost as if playing a character of your own rather than reading a story (either that or I find the MC relatable... whoops). The music is fitting to the melancholic nature of the game. Most music is sad, relaxing, and even the more uplifting ones aren't distracting, keeping the focus on the story.  If I said any more than that it'll probably be a spoiler considering the demo took me 1 1/2 hours to get through. Honestly invested, and anticipating for the full one. Great job!

p.s. dev, I blindly sent you an email (as in, completely guessed what your email is) because your Twitter isn't set up for messages. Not sure if you received it, so can you check? Thanks!

Hello. Thank you for taking interest despite our hiatus. Your opinion to the demo is very much appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply but unfortunately we didn't received any emails from you. If you are still up to sending us another message again, our email is spicastudios@gmail.com. We also opened our DM in twitter if you prefer to DM us there instead.

This was very good! The art and music is pleasing and builds a unique, soft but cold vibe. The story itself is also intriguing and the characters are all written into the plot seamlessly and have an important role to play. Just as I started to really get into it unfortunately, it ended... I hope to see a full release soon, this was a highly promising start.

If I had any critique to offer, it'd probably be in the main character. She doesn't seem to have much of a personality (as of yet) or unique traits other than her depressed outlook on life. As this was just a demo version I'm sure she develops more later on though, that was just my impression.
